Full Job Description
We are seeking a calm, reliable, and understanding Personal Assistant to support a quiet and considerate young man who is socially vulnerable and has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role focuses on promoting independence, confidence, and social development in a supportive and respectful manner. The Role The Personal Assistant will provide one-to-one support to help develop daily living and social skills, both at home and in the community. Main Duties Include:
- Promoting independence and confidence
- Supporting the development of social skills and social connections
- Assisting with daily living tasks, including: o Menu planning o Food shopping o Developing cooking skills
- Supporting with travelling in the community
- Accompanying and supporting attendance at social and community activities
