Her needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required. You should be enthusiastic and have an ability to promote and assist individuals in developing hobbies and interests outside of the home, including peer relationships in a social environment. Car owner and full valid driving license is desirable (business insurance required) Due to the nature of the work for which you are applying, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs will be covered).,

  I am both the employer and mother to my daughter who has been allocated 6 hours per week PA support during school holidays via direct payment. My daughter Autism (ASD), and is nonverbal, however, can say the odd word. I am seeking a PA to work alongside us as a family to provide my daughter with 1-1 support to access social activities within the community and provide me with a break from my caring role. My daughter is nonverbal however; she can communicate using the odd word she can communicate her needs and wants by leading by hand when she wants to go somewhere. My daughter enjoys being active She loves the outdoors, swimming/water play, trampoline parks, going for walks and accessing sensory activities or venues. She is able to manage her personal care with prompt, however at times may require assistance or personal care if she had an accident when out.
