Full Job Description
The permit co-ordinator is responsible for all matters to implementing the works permitting process at Hinkley Point C.
- Ensure appropriate Standard Operating Procedures are maintained for all work carried out under the permit-to-work system at HPC
- Ensure all permits are issued in a timely manner
- Approve or reject any permits which do not meet the required standard
- Carry out site audits to ensure compliance with company and client's procedures and processes
- Initiate site audits to ensure compliance with the safe system of work
- Ensures copies of permits, or records of their issue, are kept for a specified period to enable auditing or incident investigation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the permit to work team and client representatives
- Problem solver, organised, ability to prioritise and deliver within a high-paced environment
- Commitment drive and the ability to work on one's own initiative
