We are seeking an experienced Trumpet Teacher with the ability to teach up to Grade 5. You will need to work flexibly around other peripatetic staff and the school timetable. The succesful candidate will be required to teach musical instuments in group or individually, and support ensembles as directed by the Director of Performing Arts. Encourage pupils to gain knowledge and skills through learning in lessons and through the experience of group music making, fostering self-discipline and social skills necessary for music making. The role is key to enriching the education of each pupil through the provision of approprate musical experience and to provide skills that will serve the pupils for their future, and to ensure the lifelong love and enjoyment of a wide variety of musical genres. Please be aware that we currently only have two pupils learning the trumpet, but we are keen to increase these numbers.
