Peripatetic Social Worker x 3 Posts, 37 hpw

Salary Range: SCP 32 £44,253 to SCP 36 £48,738 pa Career Grade (Bar £46,579) (Inclusive of Retention Payments, Subject to Review March 2028) depending on experience, The Peripatetic Social Worker will provide flexible, high-quality social work support across Children's Social Care services, including Assessment, Supporting and Strengthening Families, Children Cared For, Kinship and other service areas as required.

The postholder will contribute to maintaining effective service delivery during periods of increased demand, staff absence, vacancies, service developments and implementation of new practice initiatives. They will undertake assessments, interventions, care planning and direct work with children, young people and families while promoting positive outcomes through restorative, relational and strengths-based practice.

The role requires a confident and adaptable practitioner who can quickly establish effective working relationships, manage complex cases and maintain high standards of practice across a variety of service settings.
