Full Job Description

  • Assist in scrubbing for Consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism, predominately orthopaedics, but also in other speciliaties including cardiothoracic.
  • You will assess patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
  • Develop care plans that are appropriate to the patient, taking into consideration the care pathway, perioperative risks and their well being.

    Qualified ODP/Scrub Nurse.
  • NMC or HCPC registered with no restrictions on your pin.
  • Orthopaedic experience is essential.
  • Have been employed in a surgical/theatre setting.
  • You will be highly motivated and used to working in challenging but rewarding environment.

    Spire St Anthony's has an exciting opportunity for an Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to join our warm and friendly team. As a scrub practitioner in our theatre complex you will predominantly be working with our leading orthopaedic surgeons but sometimes within our other specialities will be required.

We have six operating theatres covering a wide range of specialities and procedures including Ortho, Gynae, Cardio-thoracic and many other surgical specialties.
