Perinatal Training Co-ordinator, Band 4 (12-Month Fixed Term)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly organised Perinatal Training Coordinator to join the Women & Children's Division at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of mandatory, statutory and specialist perinatal training across maternity, gynaecology and neonatal services. Working closely with the Practice Development Lead Midwife, clinical educators and multidisciplinary teams, the post holder will coordinate training programmes, monitor compliance, maintain accurate training records and support the effective management of the Education, Learning and Development budget. We are looking for a motivated individual who can work independently, use their initiative and effectively prioritise a varied workload while maintaining excellent communication and organisational skills., The successful applicant will work closely with the Practice Development Lead Midwife, Perinatal Education Lead and the wider multidisciplinary team to coordinate mandatory, statutory and specialist perinatal training across maternity, gynaecology and neonatal services. The post holder will be responsible for monitoring training compliance, maintaining accurate training records, coordinating training programmes, study days and simulation sessions, and producing compliance reports to support governance and national maternity standards. The role will also support the monitoring of the Education, Learning and Development (ELD) budget, assist with procurement of training resources, and provide administrative support to the Perinatal Education Team.

Applicants should have excellent organisational, communication and IT skills, with experience of managing data and coordinating multiple priorities. Experience of working in a healthcare or training environment, together with knowledge of systems such as ESR, e-Rostering or learning management systems, would be advantageous.
