We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Peer Support Worker to join our wider team. The role of the Peer Support Worker (PSW) has been developed for the Perinatal Mental Health Service specifically for people who have lived experience of having received secondary care mental health services.
The successful candidate will support women and families who live in North Lincolnshire.
The Peer Support Workers will be involved in the ongoing development of peer roles in the Trust, and play an active role with training in the development and co-facilitation of courses in the Recovery and Wellbeing College, which will also provide the oversight for training, development and peer supervision of all those who are employed in PSW roles. Through sharing knowledge and learning from their own experiences, Peer Support Workers will inspire hope and belief in others that recovery is possible.
