Key responsibilities include:
• Providing tailored midwifery care to women with mental health needs, ensuring safe, evidence-based practices.
• Identifying deteriorations in mental health and liaising with appropriate partner agencies for timely intervention.
• Delivering health education and social care advice to reduce health inequalities and promote well-being for women and families.
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team and external agencies to ensure seamless and effective care.
• Supporting safeguarding practices, making considered judgments to protect the welfare of unborn and newborn babies.
• Assisting in staff training, development, and audit initiatives to continuously improve maternity services.

• Experience in midwifery, with a focus on mental health or vulnerable populations.
• Strong communication skills to build robust, effective networks within the Trust and with external agencies.
