Full Job Description

Cheshire West and Chester Council is a place where everyone can Thrive - through our core values of Teamwork, Honesty, Respect, Innovation, Value for Money and Empowerment. This is a varied and rewarding role within the Early Support & Family Help Service, where you will play a vital part in supporting children, young people and families through high-quality administrative and performance support. Working in a sensitive environment, you will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, discretion and a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting data quality processes, ensuring information is accurate, complete and up to date
  • Running routine reports and maintaining dashboards to provide clear and accessible performance information
  • Undertaking financial processes, including purchasing, invoice processing and accurate record keeping
  • Providing high-quality administrative support, including organising meetings and delivering clear, detailed and accurate minute taking
  • Maintaining a strong eye for detail across all tasks, particularly when handling sensitive information, performance data and financial records
  • Building positive working relationships with colleagues, partners and professionals, while maintaining a people-focused and supportive approach
  • Confidently using and quickly adapting to new systems, processes and technologies to meet the evolving needs of the service
  • This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual who is committed to supporting positive outcomes for children and families and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Please note: Interviews may take place at a different Cheshire West location from the job's primary base. We have a number of Performance & Support vacancies across the service, as such we may join up recruitment to ensure that candidates are considered for the most suitable role/team in the service.
