People Development Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised People Development Coordinator to join our People Development Team. Working at Gloucestershire College, you will work with colleagues from across the organisation to support People projects and initiatives that enhance the employee experience and help our people be at their best. It's an exciting time to join the College as we deliver our Strategic Plan 2026-2030. Our People Team has an important role in supporting these ambitions, ensuring we have an engaged, skilled and supported workforce. You will contribute by coordinating People initiatives across professional development, employee engagement, recruitment, wellbeing, systems, data and continuous improvement. About the role Working closely with the People Development Manager, People Projects Lead and wider People Team, you will be a proactive and collaborative team member, helping to keep key projects, activities and priorities moving forward. This is a varied role where you will coordinate People projects and events, support professional development activities, help improve processes and ways of working, work with People data and contribute to recruitment and employee experience initiatives.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
• A proactive approach, with the confidence to take initiative and progress activities with appropriate guidance.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence using Microsoft 365 and other business systems.
• The ability to work independently while being a collaborative and supportive team member.
