Full Job Description
An exciting oppourtunity has arisen for a talented People & Culture Officer to join our People & Culture team at Aletheia Academies Trust - a family of nineteen academies across Sevenoaks, Northwest Kent and Medway. The People and Culture Officer provides proactive, organised and responsive operational HR support across the Trust. The role takes ownership of a range of established People and Culture processes, working with increasing autonomy and initiative. The postholder is a key point of contact for schools, managers and employees, ensuring HR processes are delivered accurately, consistently and within agreed timescales. The role covers recruitment and onboarding, employee records and HR systems, payroll administration, absence and attendance, employee relations administration, HR policies and compliance, workforce data and reporting, staff communications, and People and Culture projects and initiatives. Allocated processes are managed from start to finish: resolving routine issues, monitoring compliance, following up outstanding actions and contributing to continuous improvement, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, confidentiality and customer service. This is an excellent opportunity to develop professional knowledge of HR practice, employment legislation, HR systems and best practice within a school and multi-academy trust environment. The role is based at the AAT Central office at Alkerden Church of England Academy, Colyer Drive, Ebbsfleet Valley, with occasional travel to Trust schools. Flexible working and term-time arrangements will be considered.

- Unlimited access for you and your family to 24/7 GP telephone consultations.
- Access to a wide array of discounts including Motorfinity, Kent Rewards and Blue Light Card.
- Free access to mental health and wellbeing support including counselling, mindfulness and physiotherapy sessions
- Free annual eye tests
