We're looking for a People & Culture Adviser to join our growing team, supporting colleagues, managers and leaders across MAB and over time, our wider group businesses., This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who thrives in employee relations as well as getting involved in a broad range of HR programmes of work and initiatives to shape positive colleague experiences across the business. What you'll be doing With around 60% of your time focused on employee relations, you'll be a trusted Adviser to managers, providing practical support and guidance on areas including performance, conduct, absence, grievances and capability. You'll also:
- Support managers through performance and appraisal cycles
- Provide advice on policies, procedures and HR best practice
- Keep the business up to date with employment law and legislative changes
- Analyse people data and identify trends and insights
- Build reports and support process and workflow improvements

- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience coaching and supporting managers
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Experience using people data, reporting and HR systems (Cascade/IRIS would be an advantage)
- CIPD Level 3 qualification (Level 5 or working towards is preferred)
