Full Job Description
As our People Assistant, you'll provide essential support across the full employee lifecycle, helping to deliver a smooth and professional experience for our people. Your responsibilities will include: Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinating and undertaking new starter inductions and welcome packs.
- Managing onboarding documentation and systems.
- Handling leaver processes, including completing reference requests. Training & Development
- Supporting CPD and training plan creation.
- Arranging leadership and continuing competence training. Employee Records & Systems
- Preparing offer letters, contracts, and other employment documentation.
- Maintaining accurate records in the People information system.
- Logging absences, holidays, flexi-time, and benefits. Trainees & Apprentices
- Scheduling reviews and managing documentation.
- Supporting the annual trainee recruitment process. Recruitment & Work Experience
- Supporting the Talent Acquisition team with interview coordination and applicant tracking when required.
- Managing work experience placements and CSR event participation. General Support
- Responding to employee queries.
- Assisting with maternity leave, DBS checks, GDPR audits, and Lexcel inspection preparation.
- Contributing to Learning & Development initiatives.
- Organise quarterly review meetings for each team within the Firm, The role involves ad hoc travel to our other offices in Salisbury, Winchester, Bournemouth and Poole; therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential.
