At Inspire North, our People Team plays a huge part in making sure colleagues feel valued, informed and cared for - so they can do their best work supporting communities across the North. We're now looking for a People Assistant to join us and help deliver a warm, effective and values led employee experience. This is a varied, hands on role where no two days are quite the same. You'll be at the heart of our People operations - keeping things organised, responding to questions, supporting managers and employees, and making sure our processes are smooth, compliant and genuinely human. If you're curious, proactive and take pride in doing things properly (and kindly), we'd love to hear from you. What you'll be getting stuck into You'll keep our People operations running smoothly, providing friendly, reliable support to colleagues, managers and candidates across Inspire North. You'll lead on recruitment administration and onboarding, manage People systems and records, and respond to day to day queries with care and professionalism. Alongside this, you'll support People initiatives and improvements that make working here feel simple, supportive and genuinely human.

  • Have experience in an administrative or People/HR support role (or transferable experience you're keen to build on).
  • Are highly organised, detail focused and comfortable juggling priorities.
  • Communicate clearly and kindly, whether by email, phone or face to face.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism and care.
