People Advisor (HR)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fantastic team of People (HR) professionals based at Northumbria House, Cobalt Business Park in an People (HR) Advisor role. We are seeking a motivated and conscientious individual to work within our fast-paced Operational People (HR) Team. This role is pivotal in supporting the provision of a high-quality People (HR) service that is focussed on supporting staff across the organisation to achieve outcomes in line with the vision and values of the Trust. The posts will be based at Northumbria House, Cobalt Business Park, however the post holder will be required to work at other sites within the Trust on a regular basis. Ability to meet these travel requirement is therefore essential. Blended/flexible working is supported by the Trust., You will be the first point of contact providing advice and support to line managers and employees across a range of employee relations matters, including:

• Management of attendance;
• Terms and conditions of employment;
• Conduct and capability;
• Grievance;
• Performance Management;
• Change Management;
• Retention and Redeployment;

  We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. We give people greater choice and control over their care to help them to live independently at home and avoid hospital admission where appropriate.
