People Advisor

Are you an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment? We're looking for a proactive and resilient People Advisor to join our busy manufacturing site, supporting managers and colleagues across a high-volume 24/7 operation. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you'll be at the heart of the business, building strong relationships, providing expert people advice, and helping managers deliver excellent people practices in a demanding operational environment. Drawing on responsibilities outlined in, the role includes employee relations, performance management, recruitment support, absence management and colleague engagement.,

• Provide expert advice and coaching to managers on employee relations, performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Partner with operational leaders to drive colleague engagement, performance and a positive site culture.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and retention activities across the site.
• Use people data and insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities that support business performance.
• Contribute to key people projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

• CIPD level 3 or above qualification.
• Previous experience in a People Advisor, HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role.
• Experience working within a fast-paced food manufacturing, FMCG or production environment.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong employee relations experience with confidence advising and coaching managers.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
