Pensions Team Leader

To ensure that University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust and their clients, Derbyshire Healthcare Services, Derbyshire Community Health Services receive a high quality cost effective service with regard to Pensions and all related issues. A full and comprehensive transactional Service applies to University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation. Provision of a full pension service [involving manual input and calculation] to approximately 500 employees paid by ISS on behalf of University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Foundation Trust. To liaise with all NHS employees and also external agencies such as NHSPA, HMRC. DWP, banks, building societies, solicitors and other financial institutions involved with the pensions industry., Provide technical advice and guidance to support to Trust employee's and the employer to understand, implement and communicate changes to pension's as per NHS Pensions & Nest T&C's and guidance. Contribute to the management of the Pensions Team, development and continuous improvement of the Trusts Pensions Service to the Trust and Clients.
