Your role and responsibilities

You will assist in the provision of a proactive, efficient and effective pensions service while being responsible for creating and maintaining accurate records through to the calculation and payment of benefits in line with the relevant legislation.

- Carrying out a range of pensions administration duties within guidelines, including performing calculations and accurate checking of pension records by using procedures, legislation, policies and technical knowledge.

- Calculating the whole range of individual pension and related entitlements.

- Ensuring the pension service to customers is accurate, timely and complies with relevant legislation.

- Providing clear written and verbal information to customers and clients., Step 3 - Upload a supporting statement answering the following questions below (no more than 400 words per question). You should use the Supporting Statement template (Word).

1. Describe a time when you used legislation, procedures or technical guidance to resolve a complex query. What was the outcome?

2. Give an example of when you had to manage competing deadlines or a particularly demanding workload. How did you prioritise your work?

3. Tell us about a time when you worked collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an accurate and timely service.
