Full Job Description
To administer the provisions of the Local Government Pension Scheme To facilitate the calculation and payment of benefits to contributors
- Have experience of work involving the Local Government Pension Scheme, another pension scheme or general finance
- Have experience of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Powerpoint (or equivalent packages)
- Have NVQ2 or equivalent, such as 4 GCSEs, including Maths and English (Grades A to C / 4-9)
- Have the ability to compose correspondence which is clear, concise and grammatically correct
- A sound knowledge of general office procedures and their importance to the overall function of the team/section
- A knowledge of the basic principles of customer care
- A knowledge of the importance of confidentiality and sensitive information In addition, we also expect you to share and to delivering accessible and inclusive services which meet the needs of all of our residents.
