Pelvic Reconstructive Consultant In Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery

This is a 10 PA post (8 DCC, 2 SPA) to support the foot and ankle surgical service within Orthopaedics. The post has a complex Pelvic & Acetabulum trauma focus and will in addition provide support for the Major Trauma Centre. The service is looking to appoint a substantive Consultant with a specialist interest in P&A Surgery, to complement the current needs of the Orthopaedic service within ICHT. The post holder will also be expected to contribute to teaching and training within orthopaedic department., This is a 10 PA post to support the Pelvic & Acetabulum surgical service within Orthopaedics. The service is looking to appoint a substantive Consultant with a specialist interest in P&A surgery, which will complement the current needs of the Orthopaedic service within ICHT. The post holder will also be expected to contribute to teaching and training within orthopaedic department. The postholder will partake in the on call rota which is a 1:12 frequency & the Major Trauma Consultant of the week rota.
