Summary

The Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Service provides assessment and treatment of patients with a wide variety of clinical conditions including:

• Urotherapy / continence disorders


• Post-op conditions


• Gynaecological conditions


• Perinatal Pelvic Health Conditions

A Band 5 to 6 training role would be considered if the applicant lacks the required knowledge, skills, and experience for a Band 6 Pelvic Health Physiotherapy role.

Key Responsibilities

To perform specialist assessment and treatment of patients with Pelvic Health conditions; determine a clinical diagnosis; develop, implement, evaluate and modify individualised treatment programmes; and ensure appropriate pathways of care and communication via liaison and referral to other agencies as required. The patients will present with acute or chronic conditions, some of which may be complex.
