Full Job Description

As a Peer Support Worker, you will use your own experiences of mental health challenges to provide emotional and practical support to service users, promoting their recovery. This will involve supporting service users to engage with care, building relationships, and role-modeling independent living. You will need to have the ability to offer specialist support using your personal experience of recovery, experience in a supportive role, and a strong commitment to the Recovery principles.

This is a part-time Peer Support Worker role at Elysium Healthcare, a healthcare provider with over 8,000 employees across England and Wales. The role involves providing emotional and practical support to service users with mental health challenges, drawing on the peer support worker's own lived experiences. The work will be based at Chadwick Lodge and Eaglestone View, which are medium and low secure services providing specialist treatment programs for service users detained under the Mental Health Act., Elysium Healthcare is part of the Ramsay Health Care group, which has a global network of over 86,000 employees across 10 countries.
