PCM Heating Systems Engineer (KTP Associate)

This pioneering project aims to revolutionise the UK electric heating sector by incorporating phase change materials (PCMs) into next-generation intelligent radiator technology - a product that will be unique in its field worldwide.

As a PCM Heating Systems Engineer, you will be primarily based at Trust Electric Heating Ltd in Garforth, Leeds, with access to facilities at the University of Huddersfield, including the Smart House testing facility. Working collaboratively with both organisations, you will deliver a strategically significant project. Successful completion of the KTP may lead to long-term employment at Trust Electric Heating Ltd in a role such as R&D Manager.

A 2:1 or above first degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline, is essential, and you will have practical experience in experimental methods, computational tools, materials, and data analysis. Self-motivated and innovative, you will work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
