Full Job Description
- This role is for skilled operators working within a variety of roles focused on the manufacturing and assembly of aircraft parts for civil and military programmes.
- The role will include a range of tasks and the successful applicant should demonstrate flexibility and work effectively as part of a larger multi-disciplined team Essential Responsibilities:
- Read and follow manufacturing plans
- Ensure quality and health & safety adherence
- Follow daily manufacturing metrics
- Participate in lean activities and other initiatives
- Support manufacturing delivery needs
- Work in teams to achieve delivery targets
- Complete manufacturing paperwork and job cards
General electronics and mechanical assembly work - Ability to recognise and identify components
- Ability to understand technical drawings and instructions
- Good concentration and attention to detail
- Able to produce work of high quality
- Dextrous and able to work on small products
- A flexible and co-operative approach
- Appreciation of health and safety practice in the workplace
- Experience of self-directed work teams and teaming
- Awareness of customer expectations and business requirements
- Communication and time keeping skills.

- Holiday Hourly equivalent of 26 days, with flexible option to buy or sell Security Clearance Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
