Payroll Services Advisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Payroll Officer/Payroll Services Advisor to join the Payroll Services team tosupport our payroll shared services for clients across the Black Country and beyond, processing circa. 45,000 employees.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave.

Based in our office at New Cross Hospital, you will be responsible for a section of payroll for day to day processing, inputting and calculation associated with providing an excellent payroll service., Payroll processing, accurately calculating and administering a designated payroll portfolio including all variations to pay and details affecting pay for staff concerned.

The payroll system uses a dedicated NHS system; Electronic Staff Record (ESR) this is an Oracle based system. Experience of Oracle or ESR is highly desirable. An excellent understanding of statutory legislation together with a sound knowledge of IT is essential. You should be able to use Word, Excel and Outlook confidently. Knowledge of EASY would be helpful but not essential.
