Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a Payroll Executive to join our team in Chester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team in a hybrid working capacity.   • Ensuring accurate and timely payroll end-to-end production for various clients in accordance with statutory regulations within payroll deadlines and requirements
  • Servicing multiple clients as part of a team effort to deliver excellent service to our clients by actively engaging in Client Surveys, KAM and internal audits
  • Contributing to your team's growth by actively seeking new opportunities with your client base including HR services, People Manager and Hot Topic Items
  • Ensuring you have up to date knowledge of statutory and legislative regulations by attending in-house training courses
  • Generating payroll reports, P45s etc., using our in-house systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Submitting reports to HMRC via RTI
  • Managing client billing
  • Completing any other ad hoc duties as required

    Practical experience of payroll calculations, deadlines & knowledge of UK legislation requirements
  • Strong numerical abilities & proven experience in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Passion for excellent customer service and maintaining quality relationships
  • Knowledge of month end & year end returns
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal with individuals at all levels
  • Good organisation and prioritisation skills, ensuring stringent deadlines are met
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
