Full Job Description
Are you ready to take the next step in your payroll career? We're looking for a Payroll Co-ordinator to join our friendly and fast-paced team, supporting the payroll processing for over 10,000 colleagues across our Support Office, Stores, and Distribution Centre. You'll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll, handling complex calculations, and supporting your peers with coaching and guidance. - Processing end-to-end payroll on a four-weekly cycle
- Managing overpayments, statutory entitlements, and manual calculations
- Supporting RTI submissions and end-of-period reconciliations
- Handling P45s, new starter checklists, and third-party payments
- Ensuring compliance with NMW and payroll legislation
- Collaborating with Payroll Advisors to coach and support Payroll Assistants
- Acting as a first point of contact for complex payroll queries
- Producing business reports and maintaining efficient processes
Experience in office-based payroll administration - High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Trustworthy and confident handling confidential data Desirable:
- CIPP Payroll Technician qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of current payroll legislation
- Experience with SAP payroll systems
