Payroll Administrator

We are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll team, supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll while providing administrative support and payroll guidance across the business.

This role is well suited to someone with strong attention to detail who is looking to develop their experience within a busy payroll function.

The Role

As a Payroll Administrator, you will support the delivery of an accurate and efficient payroll service, ensuring employee records are maintained and payroll processes are completed in line with company procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

Processing payroll changes including starters, leavers, contractual amendments and employee updates

Maintaining accurate employee payroll records and supporting payroll data validation processes

Responding to payroll-related queries from employees and managers in a professional and timely manner

Assisting with the preparation and processing of payrolls within agreed deadlines

Identifying and reporting payroll discrepancies, supporting their resolution where required

Ensuring payroll documentation is completed accurately and stored in accordance with company procedures

Supporting month-end and year-end payroll activities

Working closely with HR and operational teams to maintain accurate employee information

Assisting with payroll reporting and administrative tasks as required

Maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll and employee information

Providing support and cover for other members of the payroll team when required

Undertaking ad-hoc duties to support the wider payroll function
