Full Job Description
We are working closely with local authority in Nottingham to assist with the appointment of a Payments Assistant, on a 6-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration., The Payments Assistant will support the team with day-to-day payment processing activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent communication across the service. The successful candidate will work within a small team environment and will be responsible for managing workloads effectively while using multiple systems throughout the day., Process payments accurately and efficiently in line with service procedures and deadlines
Use multiple internal systems simultaneously to manage and update records
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Prioritise workloads effectively within a busy environment
Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders within a small team setting
Support the wider team with administrative and financial processing duties as required
Essentials
Experience working within a busy office environment
Good IT literacy with confidence using Microsoft Office applications
Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
