An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Trauma & Orthopaedics service as patient pathway coordinator with the focus on 18 Week RTT pathways. The post holder will join the team and be responsible for the validation, investigations and processing actions for patient pathways against last clinic letter and clinical systems to ensure the patient is accurately recorded on the Trust Patient Administration System (PAS) and RTT timescales are met. The purpose of this role is to improve RTT pathways and ensure that patient receive treatment in a time sensitive manner.Main duties of the job To ensure that every patient pathway is tracked to be diagnosed and treated as quickly as possible, ensuring this is achieved within relevant RTT standards. Maintain an up-to-date record of patient tracking and escalations using the Trusts database FDP. To escalate for patient's diagnostics and treatment appointments. Booking outpatient appointments and bring forward when required. To support the Team Leader and Service Manager to ensure all administrative process are delivered to a high standard.
