Full Job Description

You will work with the Service Manager/Delivery Manager or Senior Patient Care Coordinator (line manager) to ensure that administrative processes for the patient pathway meet the quality standards required both nationally and within the directorate and are adhered to. You'll support with improving the service and administrative pathways by offering prompt and professional communication with patients and other healthcare providers, as well as booking responsibility, managing the attendance of patients and typing clinical letters.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Patient Pathway Coordinator to join our Congenital Cardiology service. This will include managing patient and hospital correspondence, managing the patient tracking list and booking appointments all to support the patient's journey.You will be working with consultants, nurses and genetic counsellors to provide high quality care to patients. Congenital Cardiology sits within the Specialised Cardiology directorate, alongside seven other specialist service
