Full Job Description
To be a key member of the Rapid Diagnostic Team (RDC). To support the RDC to ensure patients are diagnosed promptly and track all patients that attend the service including newly diagnosed cancer patients to ensure they receive their treatment within national timescales. Maintain a detailed database and tracking system to ensure patients are receiving and attending their diagnostic tests and the results are available for review with the clinical teams., Be responsible for capturing information about all the patients that are referred to the service, ensuring up-to-date relevant information is recorded on the Trust's databases. Work with the Service Lead to ensure the development of locally and nationally agreed datasets, including assisting with the monitoring of waiting times for new cancer patients. Produce timely reports as required.
