Full Job Description
Reception Desk: Greeting patients attending for phlebotomy and Clinical Haematology Clinics
Attending, departing and making appointments for Clinic Patients using IPM (LE2.2)
Taking receipt of samples brought down by wards/departments and taking them into the laboratory areas
User Helpline:
Answering general enquiries, such as bottle types, test turnaround times.
Forwarding calls to laboratory and medical staff
Adding tests onto a sample received using the laboratory computer system.
Call Centre:
Making appointments for patients to have a blood test in the department.
Report distribution:
Posting out reports to wards/departments/community settings.
