Patient Admin Services Outpatients Team Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Team Leader within our Patient Admin Team at the Birmingham Women's Hospital. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person, with a flexible approach, to provide support to the team, ensuring a first-class service is delivered to our patients. The post holder will ensure all administrative processes are followed, in providing a streamlined service to our patients. If you are passionate about supporting quality patient care within the NHS, then this might be the role for you., The role primarily involves answering the phone, managing patient appointments, assessing workloads, managing rotas and providing supervision, training and support to a large admin team. The post holder will sometimes as/when required, to cross-cover other area's supporting other team leaders. Applicants will need excellent organisational skills, a flexible approach to work and possess an empathetic nature to be able to confidently deal with patient queries. We are looking for someone who will encourage the team and be a reliable and consistent point of contact when needed. This comes at an exciting time, as we are now working on a new electronic PAS system called EPIC.
