In this highly rewarding role, you will build positive, trusting relationships with students, working closely with teachers, therapists, families and external professionals to provide personalised support that promotes wellbeing, encourages positive behaviour and helps overcome barriers to learning.
You will play a vital part in creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where every student feels understood, valued and empowered to succeed. Through your guidance, encouragement and commitment, you will help young people develop confidence, resilience and the skills they need to reach their full potential. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students will be at the heart of everything you do.
What you will be doing
Providing pastoral support, guidance and encouragement to students across the school.
Supporting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, confidence and self-esteem.
Building strong relationships with students, families, colleagues and external professionals.
Contributing to behaviour, wellbeing and inclusion strategies that support student success.
Maintaining accurate records relating to student progress, wellbeing and behaviour.
Helping create a safe, structured and positive environment where students can thrive.
Supporting the wider life of the school and contributing to day-to-day operations.
Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people at all times.
What you will bring
A positive, patient and nurturing approach to supporting students.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
The ability to remain calm, adaptable and professional in challenging situations.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
At OFG Education, we believe every student deserves an education designed around who they are. Through high expectations, deep expertise and truly personalised education, we help students realise their potential and prepare for successful futures.

Whatever your role, joining OFG education means contributing to our shared ambition: empowering every student to success through truly personalised education.
