Full Job Description
We are seeking a committed and proactive Pastoral Support Worker to join our pastoral team, supporting students and families across Years 7 to 11. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will play a key part in promoting positive behaviour, improving attendance, and supporting student welfare. You will work closely with Heads of Year and the wider pastoral team to ensure strong, consistent systems are in place that enable all students to succeed. Key Responsibilities
- Support the pastoral team in delivering high-quality care to students and families.
- Work closely with Heads of Year to understand individual student needs and provide targeted support.
- Help implement consistent systems to improve behaviour, attendance, and wellbeing.
- Respond to incidents through the On-Call system, providing calm and effective support.
- Supervise the Reset Room, ensuring students reflect and re-engage positively
- Undertake duties around the school to maintain a safe and supportive environment
- Lead and deliver interventions and tutor sessions to support student development
- Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and success, We recognise that candidates may choose to use artificial intelligence (AI) tools when preparing their application.
