Roberts Primary School is an impressive, state-of-the-art 3-form school in North Dudley with excellent facilities, including Nursery, wraparound and an Environment Zone with a 4-acre forest school. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Manager to join our team and help ensure the wellbeing of all our pupils. This is a key role at the heart of our school community, providing emotional, social, and behavioural support to pupils and working closely with families, staff, and external agencies. The successful candidate will be proactive, approachable, and resilient, with a strong understanding of safeguarding and a genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning. You will play a vital role in promoting positive behaviour, improving attendance, and fostering a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.,

  • The Pastoral Manager role will be 37 hours a week / 40 weeks a year (Term time + 5 training days + 1 week) The closing date for applications will be Friday 4th July 2025. Interviews will be W/C 7th July 2025 - dates to be confirmed. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children; therefore, the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. All applicants must be able to provide documentation to prove their right to work in the UK. Effective from September 2022, KCSIE states as part of the shortlisting process schools and colleges should consider carrying out on-line searches, as part of the due diligence on shortlisted candidates. This is to determine suitability to work with children and keep them safe. All shortlisted candidates are now subject to an on-line check and if there is anything concerning, then the shortlisted candidate will be asked to comment on it either prior to or at interview.

    You will be a committed team player and be able to inspire children with enthusiasm for learning; be well motivated and have high expectations of both yourself and your pupils.
