Pastoral Assistant

37 hours per week

Term time only plus non-pupil days and 10 days summer holiday working

Scale 6 Point 13-18

Actual Salary - £26,143 - £28,368 (£29,064 - £31,537 FTE)

An opportunity has arisen for the position of Pastoral Assistant to start in September 2026 to provide support to students and parents in terms of positive behaviour, attitude, attendance, physical wellbeing and pastoral care to enable students to make relevant progress and engage in their learning.

The successful applicant will be a committed team player with strong administrative and interpersonal skills. The role will involve providing pastoral support for a Key Stage (to be determined). In addition, to support the Pastoral Leader with administration for the relevant year groups.

A working knowledge of a school environment, policies and procedures, including attendance, would be a distinct advantage as well as experience of dealing with external agencies.
