Part Time Teacher of Drama & Theatre Studies (Maternity Cover)
Location: Rugby School
Summary: We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic colleague who shares our vision of teaching as a vocation, to join Rugby School for a fixed term of one year. The role is part time.
- 0.5 timetable (approximately 30 periods of 50 minutes per fortnight)
- Teach Drama & Theatre Studies lessons throughout the School including GCSE, A Level and IB Higher Level
- International Baccalaureate offered alongside A Levels
Rugby offers the International Baccalaureate alongside A Levels. The School is delighted to offer all students the chance to study the IB, a programme closely aligned with Rugby's ethos of developing the whole person. Rugby is renowned for its highly successful and innovative approach to education. As a coaching school we are looking for staff who are committed to a professional obligation to improve as teachers and who value personal growth. We offer a varied programme of professional development, including in-house leadership courses for aspiring middle and senior leaders. Our aim is to ensure our colleagues are prepared well for the next step in their career.
The School is a boarding and day school in full operation seven days per week including evenings during term time. Pastoral, co-curricular, cultural and sports activities take place outside normal day-school hours. All full-time staff are expected to make a full contribution. Accommodation appropriate to family size is provided for all full-time teaching staff.
