You will be working at The Farndon Unit, a service that provides care for women with a diagnosis of severe and enduring mental illness and/or personality disorder. We have low secure and rehabilitation services within the hospital which the candidate will be supporting. There is a strong emphasis on teamwork and CPD at The Farndon Unit where you will have access to a range of training opportunities to move your career forward. You will have experience and knowledge in carrying a designated caseload, including assessing service users with complex needs, and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatment with an emphasis on trauma informed care. As Psychologist you will: Work therapeutically with service users with complex presentations,
undertaking assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi structured clinical methods. Formulat, As a Part Time Practitioner Psychologist at Elysium Healthcare, you will join a dedicated team at The Farndon Unit, providing care for women with severe mental illness and/or personality disorders. You will have a role that emphasizes teamwork and Continuing Professional Development (CPD), allowing you to access a range of training to enhance your career. Your responsibilities will include managing caseloads, assessing service users with complex needs, and delivering trauma-informed care. You will also be involved in service developments within Psychology, contributing to audit and research under the guidance of the Lead Psychologist. Youll support the development of new clinical initiatives, provide clinical supervision to Assistant Psychologists, and ensure high standards of care in line with the company and professional ethics. The role requires a HCPC registered and BPS chartered psychologist with experience in specialized psychological therapies, with the knowledge to assess and
address mental illnesses and personality disorders.
