  • To maintain a flexible approach to work at all times, Main Purpose of JobBrentford FC Community Sports Trust is seeking three passionate and dedicated Football Development Co-Ordinator and Post-16 coach to join our dynamic team. This role involves coaching a Post-16 team, and co-ordinating, and developing, boys' football development centres across of local areas, talent development, and promoting the values of sportsmanship and teamwork within our community.There are three roles available covering the following areas: Berkshire and Hillingdon
  • Ealing and Hounslow
  • Richmond and Surrey
  • Please state your preference in your application form.The candidate will be required to work a combination of 3 midweek evenings and/or Saturday mornings to accommodate training sessions.Responsibilities
  • To co-ordinate, and develop, football development sites professionally and with the flexibility to ensure all participants are offered coaching at a level appropriate to their ability and support needs.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality coaching sessions within our Post-16 Football and Education Programme.
  • Develop relationships with participants, parents and coaching staff.
  • Deliver, record, maintain, monitor & evaluate the football development plan and coaching philosophy for BFCCST .
  • Contribute to raising the profile and the perception of BFCCST in leading and developing grass roots football.
  • Establish a relationship with local charter standard football clubs, local and national governing bodies to explore new opportunities for development - coaching / employment / pathways.
  • Keep up to date monitoring including registers, VIEWS database, risk assessments and any relevant reporting documents.
  • To access all quality assurance and staff training offered by the Trust during the term of employment.
  • To ensure all equipment is available and well maintained.
  • Contribute to the effective delivery of tournaments and events
  • Report any safeguarding concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities or designated personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, concerns, and actions taken.

    Minimum UEFA C Coaching qualification and working towards UEFA B qualification
  • Previous experience in coaching football at grassroots or academy level.
  • FA Safeguarding certificate.
  • FA Emergency Aid certificate.
  • Current DBS.
  • Desirable:
  • UEFA B qualification or above
  • National Goalkeepers Course Certificate
  • Computer Literate (Microsoft Office) / IT skills
  • Full UK driving licence and transport via car
  • Personal Qualities:
  • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young players.
  • Excellent organisational and planning abilities
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest coaching methodologies
  • Ability to travel to variety of workplaces within West London utilising own transport.
  • Flexible to work outside normal office hours including a combination of 3 midweek evenings and/or Saturday mornings to accommodate training sessions.
