Full Job Description
Yr Ysgol is a 16-bed nursing home supporting adult males and females with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour's, Huntington's disease, acquired brain injuries and dementia.. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.
People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including gardening, live music, shopping and swimming helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.
About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you'll empower adults with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour's, Huntington's disease, acquired brain injuries and dementia to live life their way.
You'll:
Support independence and personal goals
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
Assist with daily life activities, for example cooking, shopping and social outings
