Conduct in-depth research on Financial Products

Ensure suitability reports meet regulatory standards

Prepare detailed cashflow models

The Paraplanner plays a critical role in supporting financial advisers by delivering high-quality technical research, analysis, and client-focused reports. This position requires advanced knowledge of financial planning, tax, pensions, investments, and compliance, combined with strong analytical and communication skills.

The role involves mentoring junior paraplanners and ensuring technical accuracy across all planning outputs. In addition to producing complex advice, the Senior Paraplanner provides technical oversight, mentors paraplanners, and helps drive consistency, quality and continuous improvement across the paraplanning function.

Skills and Knowledge

Diploma qualified or working towards

Minimum of 1-2 years experience

Strong understanding of Pensions, Investments, tax planning and protection

Proficient in Financial Planning software like FE Analytics and Voyant
