Full Job Description
· To support Directors and IFAs in researching client solutions · To ensure excellent customer service is delivered to all clients and introducers · Creation of Suitability Reports for Directors and advisers in a timely and accurate manner General responsibilities, · To support one or more directors and IFAs in respect of research and formulating their Suitability Reports · To take personal responsibility for the accuracy of said reports · To add value to the whole process with your personal knowledge and experience · To liaise and forge a close working relationship with the administrative team · To have the confidence to discuss and or challenge any director or adviser in a constructive and respectful manner · To be proactive not reactive in your daily duties being mindful of any urgent cases and stringent timescales · To take personal responsibility for an understanding of any changes in tax law, legislation and market events · To ensure required CPD is carried out in a timely fashion · To act with integrity at all times and help to develop the company Brand · To update the directors/ advisers on the current status play on all pending work on a weekly basis as a minimum · To assist in the training and development of any trainee
para planners · To assist the investment committee as and when needed · To help with administration tasks if the need arises Relevant experience, skills and knowledge
We expect an individual performing this role to have the following: Experience - · Ideally 5 years experience as a paraplanner. This is preferred but not essential · Level 4 Diploma Qualified · Competent on IO and Cash Flow modelling Skills - · Good knowledge of financial processes and products · Good market knowledge · Ability to write accurate comprehensive reports and add value where possible · A can do mentality and confident disposition · An excellent TEAM ethos · Ability to work independently Knowledge - · Excellent written / oral communication skills · Good numerical skills · Good IT skills · Ability to compile reports, procedures and processes in a timely fashion Qualification requirements
We expect an individual in this role to hold the following qualifications: Qualified at level 4 or working towards DipPFS is desirable
