Paramedic

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Stafford, a category C Prison located in Staffordshire. HMP Stafford has a capacity of 753 males, aged from 21 + As a Paramedic, you will be working as part of the Primary Care tea, you will be based within the healthcare department and wing based. • Provide outstanding evidence based case to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them - focussing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
• Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
• Playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patients care following our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding.

• Qualified Paramedic - HCPC
• Proven post-registration ambulance experience
• Evidence of continued professional development
• A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
• Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries / illness

  Hours: This role is a permanent role at 37.5 hours per week
• Monday - Sunday service
• 37.5 hours per week
• 7.45am till 17.30pm
• 1 weekend in 3 and also bank holidays, This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary between £34,428 - £41,659- depending on experience.
