Full Job Description

  • Assisting senior team member with a varied caseload of property casualty, property damage, product liability and subrogated recovery cases, with a particular focus on subsidence claims.
  • Prioritising work effectively and maximising efficiency in working practices.
  • Building stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
  • Developing your technical and commercial knowledge via training or working practice., Our recruitment process upholds the highest standards of fairness and engagement.     For this role in particular, prior experience handling subsidence claims would be highly desirable.
    • We welcome applications from Paralegals and experienced fee earners who can demonstrate proven subsidence expertise, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to manage this work effectively. Office attendance in Bristol will be required 2-3 days per week, with scope of a more flexible hybrid working model in time.,
  • Relevant Legal qualifications e.g. LLB, LLM.
  • Previous experience working in a Legal environment.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, whilst working to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to quickly and carefully assess files and sensitive data.
  • Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Desirable:
  • Previous experience dealing with subsidence claims or a strong understanding of subsidence-related work would be highly advantageous for this role.
  • Someone who can demonstrate a real desire to develop their career with DWF.
