This is a varied and hands-on role where your attention to detail, organisation, and client-focused approach will make a real difference.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting the management of clinical negligence and personal injury cases.
- Opening files, preparing retainer documents, and maintaining accurate file management.
- Ensuring key deadlines are tracked and met.
- Obtaining and reviewing medical records and evidence relating to financial losses.
- Preparing bundles and assisting with evidence collation.
- Drafting legal documents, including letters of instruction, witness statements, and court documents.
- Liaising with clients, medical experts, counsel, and other third parties.
- Keeping clients regularly updated and managing expectations with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Conducting legal research on liability, quantum, and procedure.
- Supporting fee earners and contributing to overall team performance and KPIs.
- Responding to new client enquiries and supporting business development activity.
- Ensuring compliance with firm-wide procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Keeping up to date with legal developments and best practice.
Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment (personal injury experience desirable).
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills, with a compassionate approach.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems.
- Analytical and proactive, with a willingness to learn and develop.
- A collaborative team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Professional, discreet, and committed to delivering high levels of client service.
Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Generous holiday allowance plus bank holidays.
- Pension scheme and life assurance.
- Access to flexible benefits.
- Exposure to meaningful, client-focused work.
- A supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Opportunities for training and career development.
If you're looking to build your legal career in a role where you can make a real difference to people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.
