Paper Machine Dry End Operator

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role that keeps you on your toes? As a Dryer End Operator, you'll be working 12-hour shifts on our innovative 5-shift pattern (2-day shifts followed by 2-night shifts). You'll be an integral part of our paper making team, ensuring the efficient and safe production of tissue paper reels.,

• Master the Dryer End: Take charge of the dryer end of the paper machine, managing sheet moisture, blade changes, and cylinder adhesion chemicals. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of this critical part of the production process.
• Operational Excellence: Execute all tasks with precision, adhering to documented procedures. Your commitment to excellence will help maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.
• Maintain Quality: Ensure the Yankee Cylinder is effectively coated for optimal surface protection and maintain moisture levels to target. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining product quality.
• Operate Equipment: Skillfully handle reel turnover and debar/re-bar equipment as needed. Your ability to operate complex machinery will be vital to the role.
• Record Keeping: Keep accurate records and work strictly to centreline settings. Your meticulous record-keeping will support operational consistency and traceability.
• Perform Maintenance: Conduct Clean Inspect and Lubrication tasks to ensure safe and reliable operations. Your proactive maintenance will help prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
• Quality Assurance: Undertake quality sampling and testing from parent reels as per existing procedures. Your role in quality assurance will help maintain our high standards.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep your working area spotless and cover additional responsibilities as required. Your commitment to cleanliness will contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.
  
  Experienced: You have a background in the FMCG industry and are proactive in using H&S practices. Your experience will be invaluable in maintaining high safety standards.
• Problem Solver: You enjoy troubleshooting and finding root causes of issues. Your problem-solving skills will help keep operations running smoothly.
