Full Job Description

The Parent and Infant Relationship Service ( PAIRS) in Lewisham has an exciting opportunity for an HVAP, nursery nurse or perinatal nursery nurse, to joins us on a fixed term contract until March 2027. Are you passionate about parent and infant attachments? Do you want to make a real difference for families in Lewisham,? This might be the opportunity you've been looking for!, The post holder will be a member of the PAIRS ( Parent and Infant Relationship Service ) . In conjunction with the team they will contribute to the assessment of health needs and delivery of appropriate interventions to meet needs of families and Children under 5 years old as defined in the clinical pathways of the PAIRS.

They will undertake duties as delegated by the Clinical Lead which includes child health promotion and surveillance, predictive guidance support and advice to families with children under 5 years of age. They work as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team, liaising and working with statutory and voluntary agencies to promote the health and wellbeing of the local population as appropriate. They will facilitate group and one to one interventions interventions.
